I’m hearing it more and more often, that bigger and taller [>130cm] children should after all at some point switch to a backless booster, because the backrest makes head excursion space smaller.
Also I’ve heard that there is a 125cm height minimums coming for backless boosters in Europe which is probably a good idea.
